Dumbbell Squats target various large muscle groups of the lower body including the quads, hamstrings, and glutes.
Dumbbell Squats are performed by holding two dumbbells by your sides. Not only is this grip position usually easier to hold and grip the weights, it also makes it easier for you to remain in the upright position throughout the movement.
These along with goblet squats are great exercises to start with when learning the squat movement pattern.
